The educational criteria should be 10+2 with minimum marks of 45% for candidates of General, OBC or PWD categories and 40% in cases of ST or SC category. There is a total marks of 200 offered for the examination. All are multiple choice question of one mark each. The duration of examination is for 2 hours and the subjects that are tested are English including comprehension for 40 marks, General Knowledge and Current Affairs for 50 marks, Elementary Mathematics for 20 marks, Legal Aptitude for 50 marks and Logical Reasoning for 40 marks. In case of any wrong answer there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
